We're swimming 31km for Youth Mental Health

This March, we are swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.
Swimming has played an important role in my own mental health, and this year Lena and I have taken up the challenge to swim 31km (each) over the month of March.
We are swimming in memory of James Miller, a great friend who left us too soon. This challenge is a way to honour him and to support others who may be struggling.
By sponsoring our challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.
Why this cause matters:
There are many worthy causes out there. Youth mental health is one that is especially close to my heart.
Suicide is the leading cause of death for my demographic in Australia; 1-in-3 deaths for 15-24 age group and 1-in-5 deaths for 25-44 age group (AIHW) - more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.
A majority of Australians who experience mental health issues do not, or are unable to, seek relevant support and services.
All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
