Hi all

Thanks for passing by and reading my story

You see I was motivated by a good mate and colleague to do something little different today

As many of you may (or may not) be aware, I've been on a health journey for the last 18mths or so

Some colleagues and I set ourselves goals to get fit - and I set myself a goal to lose 50 kgs

When this journey started in August 2023, I was 134 kgs

As of Saturday (22/02/2025), I'm at 84.8kgs

That's 49.2 kgs!! Sooooo close!!!

Part of this journey has been learning how to swim (and this still includes conquering my unreasonable fear of water - esp open water)

Now we all know how setting goals work. We do this for our families, our business and our clients every day!

So I've set myself another goal: as March is 'Laps for Life', I've set myself a goal to swim 10Km's in March and raise $1,000Laps for Life is an initiative of ReachOut Australia and seeks to better mental health and wellbeing for all young people.

We all know the stats - more than 1 in 3 young people in Australia is currently experiencing a mental health difficulty. 

But there’s an even bigger problem: more than 1 million of them are not accessing professional support. And, suicide remains the leading cause of death for 16-24 year olds in Australia.

And that means I need your help please - if you're able, please donate whatever you can.
