Every day in Australia, 8.6 people sadly take their own lives. That’s a number that’s hard to wrap your head around, but it’s real. And even more heartbreaking, over 400 kids lose their lives to suicide each year. These aren’t just statistics—they’re real people, with families, friends, and futures that were cut short.
We can make a difference. By raising awareness so people get the help they need, talk openly, support each other, and be there for those who are struggling, we can help change these numbers. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, and together, we can help stop these tragedies from happening.
It’s time to take action and show those who are struggling that they matter. Let’s work together to make sure no one has to go through this alone. Help us, help them. Every life counts.
