DAPHNE SPYROPOULOS

I'm swimming to save lives

  • This is my first year diving

  • in for youth mental health
When my mum mentioned her friend was taking part in Laps for Life, I wanted to learn more about it. I was shocked to find out that more of young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer. So, while keeping up with my normal swim training, I decided to join my mum’s friend's team to support and raise money for young people. This March, I will be counting my laps to ensure young people in Australia have the mental health support they need. By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide. All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenges they're facing.
