I'm swimming for our youth

  • This is my first year diving

  • in for youth mental health

As I delve into my studies in the youth work field, I am constantly reminded of the heartbreaking reality that suicide is the leading cause of death among young people in Australia. Each year, more young lives are lost to suicide than to car accidents or cancer, a statistic that is both devastating and a stark call to action.

This March, I am undertaking a swimming challenge to ensure that young people in Australia receive the urgent mental health support they so desperately need. By sponsoring my effort, you will be contributing directly to the prevention of youth suicide and helping to create a brighter, more hopeful future for our young people.

Every dollar raised will go towards providing essential support and resources, enabling young individuals to feel more positive about their present and their future, no matter the challenges they face. Your support is a beacon of hope in a time when it is needed most.

Together, we can make a difference and work towards a future where no young person feels alone or without the help they need. Let’s join forces to end the tragic epidemic of youth suicide and ensure that every young Australian can live a full, vibrant life.
