Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?

That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.

This March, I'm swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.

By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.

All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.

Well somehow we have made it past $500 just 4 hours after posting. Thanks again for all of your generosity! Can we get to the new goal of $750?

Wow! We reached my goal of $300 in donations within minutes, upped the goal to $500 and we are almost there in an hour! Absolutely incredible, thank you so much. Can’t wait to get cracking in the pool Saturday!

Hi friends!

This March I am challenging myself to swim 31km in 31 days (40 laps a day!) for Laps for Life, raising funds for ReachOut, an online mental health service for young people in Australia. I hope to raise at least $300, thanks to you! If you know me well, you’ll know that I am a master procrastinator and while I’ll be trying hard to keep up with the kilometres, there’s no doubt I’ll be left with a big swim on the 31st! So that should keep it interesting for you 😂 Thanks so much for your commitment to supporting mental health for young people in Australia!
