I'm swimming to save lives

Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?

That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.

This March, I'm swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.

By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.

All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.

My final week

This March, I have been challenging myself to swim for youth mental health.
Thanks to my awesome donors, I stayed motivated and reached my goal of swimming 10 km, and we raised $1546 so far for youth suicide prevention.

But we are still short of the $3000 target! 

Please help me reach that target in the next few days. 
Unfortunately, suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia. That means that each year, more young people in Australia die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer. But together, we can change that.

I decided to do an ocean swim today while it was not too sunny outside. I have now reached 6.92 km into my 10km goal. It was a nice break from the pool and plenty of space to perfect my erratic backstroke; no one else was in the water!!

A successful second day, feeling great!

Today, I have finally started my journey towards a 10 km swim by the end of this month.
With 1.350 km achieved, I have 8.650 km left to reach my goal.
All donations will go towards youth suicide prevention, a cause that is very close to my heart...
