Small actions can make waves. I’m stoked to be swimming laps in March to fundraise for a cause I’m passionate about - Youth Mental Health. All funds will go to Reach out, an organisation that brings awareness to, busts stigma of and provides resources for Youth mental health. Reach Out helps young people, schools and parents get the support and resources they need to care for young people in their lives. This work contributes to education around youth mental health, busts stigma and generates greater awareness around mental health! I’m keen to get in the pool to help continue this worthy cause.
It’s ok not to be ok, and if I can combine my love for being in the water and education around mental health… the pool better watch out… let’s swim!
