I'm swimming to save lives
- This is my fifth year diving
- in for youth mental health
I'm joining the Laps for Life Swimming Challenge again this year. We're raising money for mental health for the ReachOut Foundation who do so much work with those who are suffering with mental health issues.
The swim starts on 1 March and goes through to 31 March. I've set myself a target of 17km, which won't be easy to achieve. Youth suicide in Australia deeply saddens me: every life is precious. I feel blessed to be able to do something I love and at the same time contribute to raising funds for the very important work of ReachOut in helping these young people.
