TRIGGER WARNING: Im telling it like it is here........
Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia? This is SO fucked up...
It's preposterous that the government doesn't provide ample funding for MANY things that are important to society's most vulnerable..... so organisations like ReachOut thankfully step in and do the job the govt and your taxes SHOULD be doing and that is to support young people with challenging mental health issues to prevent them from killing themselves.
Frighteningly, each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer..... soooo, with your $ help, I'm swimming again this year to raise money to help Reach Out help our community's young'ns.....
It's supposed to be just in March, but I'm starting now..... gonna swim 31km (or maybe more!) between now and the end of March - by sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide and that is seriously the best.
All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
Give a little... give a LOT if you can..... and please pass this on to anyone who you think would also care about the safety and survival of our vulnerable young people... XXXXX
