In memory of Jade hughes
- This is my first year diving
- in for youth mental health
In March, I will be taking part in Laps for Life to honor the memory of a friend who lost their life to suicide. This cause is deeply personal to me, and through every lap I swim, I hope to raise awareness about youth mental health and the importance of reaching out for support. Suicide is the leading cause of death for young Australians, and organisations like ReachOut provide crucial resources to those struggling. By participating in Laps for Life, I want to help break the stigma, encourage conversations, and ensure that no one feels alone in their battles. Any donation is appreciated to helping this cause which I am so passionate about.
