Every day, another young Australian loses their life to suicide...
Mental health disorders is one of the most prevalent diseases experienced by young Australians, with suicide being the leading cause of death!
Statistically, more than 1 in 3 young Australians currently experience a mental health disorder however so many do not access professional support. This March, I am aiming to swim 31kms to raise awareness for the services provided by Reach Out to support and create an anonymous environment where young Australians can openly express themselves, explore what is happening in their lives and to connect with people who understand their situation. The money I raise will be donated to Reach Out so that they can continue to deliver and build upon their resources.
Any monetary donation is greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. Any words of encouragement, or even to help me to spread the word, is just as appreciated.
