Building up daily swimming
getting back into the habit of swimming every day so I can meet my target of 1km per day every day in March.
We’re swimming to save lives
Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?
That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.
This March, we’re swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.
By sponsoring our challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.
All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.

It was extremely difficult to find support for my son’s mental health issues between the ages of 13 and 24. When help was available it was horribly inconsistent and uncaring - both private and public health. He will suffer the outcome of the lack of mental health care for youth in NSW for some time, probably the rest of his life; and still, no doubt, he is one of the lucky ones with family on his side. Hoping many kids are supported with this money. Happy swimming!
