I’m back 🥳

I’m finally in the water 💦 After waiting for stiches to come out, then 🌀Alfred, took my first plunge for the month. I have some catching up to do. 60 laps/3km done and dusted. feels good👍

I am on my way to reach my swimming goal

No matter how slow, I know with each lap I am making a difference. Laps for Josh.

From a Bereaved Mum

Karen and I became friends under the saddest of circumstances. Having both lost our precious boys to suicide. I could see right away what a kind hearted person she is. When she sees someone in pain Karen's instant reaction is to reach out and comfort them. 

Karen collects people, she loves them and welcomes them into her tribe.


Whenever she hears of another mum who has lost a child to suicide she will reach out to them, tell her about her messenger  support page, a support group or organise a lunch with other Mums to show her she is not alone. 


Karren brings people together, she has a light and energy about her that is infectious. Karen is very community minded and has organised several community suicide awareness walks winning the standby award for outstanding contribution to the community. Karen is famous for her ladies days where she brings women together to laugh and bond. 


Karen is so loved because she has such a big heart and loves everyone. The world needs more people like our Karen

We’re swimming to save lives

Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia?

That means that each year more young people die by suicide than in car accidents or from cancer.

This March, we’re swimming to make sure young people in Australia have the mental health support they urgently need.

By sponsoring our challenge, you’ll be helping to prevent youth suicide.

All funds raised will help young people feel better about today and the future, no matter what challenge they're facing.
