STRONG COMMUNITIES SUPPORT LIFE

Suicide is a leading cause of death for young people in Australia.

Less young people die in car accidents and from illness than do from suicide. Something is wrong!

This March, there’s an opportunity to extend your support to the youth of Australia by sponsoring and, or joining me in swimming in raising funds for mental health, so that young people can go on to live fulfilling lives.

Every $$$ counts!

Your sponsorship $$$ will make a difference in helping to prevent youth suicide.

There is no single cause of youth suicide however it is closely linked to low self esteem.

Current research tells us that people experiencing financial hardship are 20 times more likely to attempt suicide.

Glossy social media endangers everyone, especially the youth of Australia.

A negative personal perception of socioeconomic status leads to an increased sense of hopelessness and lack of self worth.

Your sponsorship of this project will help Australian kids to break the negative cycle and help all Australians to build stronger communities and a brighter future.
